Hi, I’m Vivian Zampierollo.

As second-generation greengrocer, I know fresh.

I’ve been in the fruit and veg business for over 13 years, building a tribe of loyal customers at Green Leaf Produce, my little stall at the iconic Queen Victoria Market.

I run this stall with my husband Peter, whom I met at the market in 2005. We bonded over our love of fresh produce and the rest, as they say, is history!

A Wholesome History

My dad was only 11 years old when he came to Melbourne from Vietnam in %insert date%.

He started working for his uncle at his fruit-vending stall to put himself through high school and university. In 1970, my dad opened his own stall.

You could say that a passion for the freshest food is in my DNA.

Peter, on the other hand, has been working for various fruit shops and markets since he was a teenager. What started off as an after-school job quickly became a passion as he began to learn all the nuances in flavours, textures and smells in different produce.

Raised in an Italian family, Peter grew up with an appreciation for using quality crops to create robust, aromatic meals.

A Wholesome Promise

We aim to provide our customers the freshest seasonal produce while supporting local farmers as often as possible.

We are extremely particular about our produce and where it is sourced. Most of our produce - particularly our green vegetables – is sourced from local farms and we know all of our growers personally.

Every morning, we get up early to visit the Wholesale Fruit and Vegetable Markets to cherry-pick the best produce available.

We believe that a wholesome life starts with a wholesome kitchen.

That's why we've made it our mission to provide our customers with the freshest organic produce in a way that is convenient and suits their lifestyle.
